Day 1:

You will receive a warm welcome to Egypt! We will greet you upon arrival at Cairo International Airport, and you will be transferred to your 5-star hotel.

Day 2:

We will begin our adventure with a visit to the Step Pyramid of Sakkara, Serabum Tomb, Carpet School, and lunch at a local restaurant.

(Sakkara area: This large area, about 20 miles south of Cairo, is part of the necropolis of the ancient Egyptian city of Memphis. The name of the site is derived from the God Sokar or from the Arab tribe once resident in the area.)

Day 3:

We will visit the Giza plateau, including a trip to the iconic Great Pyramid. You will have a private tour of the King's Chamber within the Great Pyramid, and we will end the day with a stop at the Egyptian Museum.

(The pyramids: The most famous Egyptian pyramids are those found at Giza, located on a plateau on the west bank of the Nile River, on the outskirts of modern-day Cairo. The oldest and largest of the three pyramids at Giza is known as the Great Pyramid.)

Day 4:

We will take to the air and fly to Luxor.

In the afternoon, we will visit the Papyrus Museum and then experience and explore Luxor Temple.

(Luxor Temple dates from around 1392 BC. The temple is a monument to inspired insight, conscientious scholarship, and exacting archaeological groundwork that represents a major contribution to humanity's perennial search for self-knowledge and the prehistoric origins of its culture and science.)

Day 5:

We journey to the west bank of Luxor, where we step into the feminine and onto the phenomenal Valley of the Kings to walk in the footprints of those who have gone before.

(Valley of the Kings: The gateway to the afterlife lies on the Nile's West Bank of Luxor. The tombs evidence elaborate preparation for the next world.)

After that, we will visit Aye's Tomb and an Alabaster Factory.

Day 6:

We relax in the morning. In the afternoon, we enjoy the magic of Karnak Temple.

(Karnak Temple: The largest temple ever made, covering about 200 acres (1.5 km by 0.8 km), was a place of pilgrimage for nearly 2000 years.)

We will also visit a jewelry shop today.

Day 7:

We will spend the day exploring Abydos and Dandara Temples.

(Abydos Temple: It was the main cult of Osiris. One of the most fascinating stories is about Om Seti or Dorothy Louise Eady (16 January - 21 April 1981), who was the keeper of the Abydos Temple.)

(Dandara Temple: Dedicated to the goddess Hathor, it is believed that the name is derived from the sky and fertility. Goddess Hathor is also associated with the Greek Aphrodite.)

Day 8:

Morning is free. In the afternoon, we will visit the Temple of Hatshepsut and Habu.

(Hatshepsut's Temple: It dates from the New Kingdom. The temple was dedicated to Amun-Ra.)

(Habu Temple: It was built by King Ramesses III and is the best-preserved of the New Kingdom memorial temples. Madinet Habu functioned as the administrative center of western Thebes. The site is considered a sacred palace where the first primeval gods were buried.)

Day 9:

We sail on the Nile and into the sunset. We spend the night in the village.

Day 10:

In the morning, we sail to the city of Edfu, where we visit and explore the Temple of Edfu.

(Temple of Horus: It is considered the most preserved temple in Egypt. The temple dates from 237-57 BC during the Ptolemaic Kingdom and is dedicated to the falcon god Horus, who was merged with the Greek god Apollo.)

After lunch in the afternoon, we board our boat and continue sailing to the island of Bissau. We will spend the night in Bissau and have dinner on the island with a barbecue.

Day 11:

We have time to explore and walk on the island of Bissau in the morning. We will then depart to visit the mountain chain (Gabel El Silsila). After the visit, we board our ship and continue towards Kom Ombo.

Day 12:

We sail towards Kom Ombo, where we disembark and visit the Kom Ombo Temple. In the afternoon, we will sail to Aswan. We will spend the night in Aswan.

Day 13:

This morning, we start with a trip to visit Aswan. We will also explore the High Dam, the amazing Philae Temple, and the fragrant Perfume Factory.

(Philae Temple: It is one of the most picturesque in all of Egypt, dedicated to the Egyptian goddess Isis. It was saved from a watery grave by UNESCO's rescue project during the building of the Aswan High Dam.)

Day 14:

We start early in the morning as we drive south of Aswan to Abu Simbel to explore for the day.

(Abu Simbel: It is an ancient temple complex, originally cut into a solid rock cliff in southern Egypt. It is one of the world's most breathtaking monuments and Egypt's second most visited touristic site.)
